I really took some comments here to heart and so I modified/redid the last two panels of this page. I think it works a whole lot better. Thanks for your suggestions!

Oh! Bodysnatchers!

But how could he do that in the last panel, it seems like he was at least 3 steps away?

Um...let's just say he's fast? Haha. Actually, on looking back at this page, I was wondering how Perez's hand bones work in the first panel. The one holding the phone, that came out a bit weird. It's funny, how much I check these for mistakes before I hit publish, and then the minute I do, there's often something. Oh well. I am working on a print version and fixing some of the bigger problems, so I always appreciate when you point things out!

Frankly, I'm enjoying releasing this a page at a time, especially for interactions such as these, but I think if I did a comic all at once, I'd be able to make it much more consistent as far as colors and characters go. With this one, you can definitely see my style growing and changing as we go. I've not worried too much about that, but it is something I've noticed and I think in the print version will be very obvious.

(Back from a business trip.) My thoughts: It's most probably needed for the plot, but tbh it annoyed me and still does: Perez is ex-military (with serious field experiences) and now-cop, she has a gun pointed at him, and even taking into account that she was just in bed with him, she appears to be totally serious now - so if he could ram his head on her stretched-out hands and then ram his head on her chest... if he's that fast & agile, neither Perez nor Samson nor both together would have a chance.

Maybe... if he slapped her hands up and then rammed her on the chest... but then she would have her hands above his head... and she's still ex-military.

Anyway, how ever he did it... He must have a huge self-confidence to try something like this and... well, special fighter training to succeed. On top of all that, by this he confirmed that she was right, so now he has to kill her, it's the only way to keep her from telling someone else about him and the woman at the bar, just knocking her out and running away wouldn't do.

...(RockB), I've been thinking about this comment for a bit and you're totally right. I'm changing up the last two panels of this page, so there will be a new update soon. :-)

Hey, I have been away with some personal issues, but good to come back and see all this great work! I agree with Rock's comment, as a fighter, and I think it is cool, how you are going to revise something to try something new. The story is delightfully suspenseful with some fantastic revelations going on!

My I was SO curious about this! GREAT solution, fixes everything without super hero qualities needed, I LOVE it!

Oh wait - The gun in the last panel, it looks like Perez held it upside down. But if the black haired woman took the gun by turning it over her right hand, then Perez' right hand would get twisted back and the black haired woman would end up holding the gun having a tight grip around the barrel and with the muzzle downwards.

But still, I love the solution itself.

I really didn't want to go and change anything, but I hated how weak it made Perez seem, and I think the changes to this page combined with the next page undo that. Now she's holding her own against two people rather than one. There were some consequences as it did require some changes in the script later on, but I think it was definitely the right choice and I thank you for your help!
