Wow, it's been so long. I'm really sorry about that, especially as this page was 90 percent finished this entire time! Basically, there have been issues regarding my computer, internet connection, and lots of snow. But all is restored, and I now have an internet connection at home again, so hopefully I'll get back to updating once every week or two!

Wow, you had some "interesting times" like in the Chinese curse. Good that it's settled now. And sorry for vanishing...

What an asshole! And this page shows a lot of assholery at all sides. Also, nothing to loose here, this asshole's men practically replace the Taliban already.

(But I wonder what the American side expected to gain with an "ally" like that, to keep his "ruling by fear" going, he needs the Taliban to present a threat "worse than him". So - practically, he's more of an ally for the Taliban than for the Americans. I have no words for the crookedness of this. Your technical problem aside, this page was worth the wait, story-wise, methinks.)

You know what the worst part of this page is? While Perez and her actions is an invention, I based a lot of this situation on a true story. Here's a true story of many US servicemen who were relieved of their command after beating up "allies" who were raping children, most often boys. I remember when I first heard about this five years ago, I was so angry, I wanted to do something, but had no idea what to do. Hopefully by including bits of truth in my fiction, it will help people learn of these atrocities. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/23/world/asia/afghanistan-military-abuse.html
