Here's the next page a couple days early! Next weeks will be a day or so early as well. Sorry to leave you on such a cliffhanger for a week!

By the way, I'm loving the ComicFury host. Our readership has gone through the roof. I'm really hoping we can build a community, so don't hesitate to say hello, subscribe, rate pages, and leave comments.

I crowdsourced the name of the llama on my Facebook page in what was probably the most responded to post I've ever had. That makes me wonder about the quality of my other posts... either way, overwhelmingly the winner was Dolly or Dalai which I was happy with. The runner up was also great "Como se", but due to this book's religious undertones, Dolly was the better choice.

Art fans: recognize this guy? I borrowed his likeness from a piece of classic art, see if you can find out where? (There's already been another classic art Easter egg and many yet to come, let me know if you find them!)

I personally love colored works so much. And the colors on this page is simply amazing. I'm also curious as to where the story leads

That means a lot to me, thank you! Various elements in the story have their own color schemes so I've approached it as if grading a film.

As far as the story, I am glad it's suspenseful! These are really interesting characters I've enjoyed exploring and am excited people can finally see them. I feel bad only being able to release one page a week! PS, I am working from a completed script I wrote, so you don't have to worry about me reaching a point where I don't know what happens next!

Great story Cliff! I feel that the likeness is from Vincent VanGogh 1887 Self Portrait with Straw Hat. Also, I loved the levity of the page with creeping dramatic flair until the cliff hanger at the end there. References to "country" culture such as bestiality and overprotective dads with shotguns was a nice slice of Americana there. The rainbow seems like some sort of clue, just as the magenta lighting bathing Dolly and the man.

For the Easter egg, you've got the right artist, wrong work....

Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat?

Nope, though I love that painting. I actually flat out copied the character of the llama farmer from one of Van Gogh's paintings, so he looks exactly like a character from one of his paintings. I'm adding classic art Easter eggs mostly for fun, though many of the images I have chosen were done so because of religious, mental health, or nationalistic contexts. But I wouldn't work too much into them, the fact that there are art references has nothing to do with the plot.
